Alright, I've been MIA, my apologies! Weddings, anniversary's, birthdays, they all happen this month, + as wonderful + celebratory as they are, they take up so much of my time. But amidst all of the celebrating we got to add one more huge accomplishment to the list...maybe the best news we've received all year...

Austin PASSED THE CALIFORNIA BAR!!

We are so unbelievably happy, grateful, relieved + excited that this huge event is over, in the best way possible + I am so proud of him.

But let's take it back to design because, really that's what we're all waiting for : )

This week I found the lovely luxurious home of Shelby Girard + was inspired to celebrate her oh so Glam Boho Loft

As much as I love a good funky, mis-matched, antique bohemian cabin, there is something to be said for the refined, glamorous alter ego in all of us. I tap into that side every so often + I usually end up wanting to flip my entire space. Although, I'll probably just end up back to a mis-matched space within a week, there is something to take away from this Glam Bam Boho look.

Tips + Tricks

When selecting furniture look for sleek lines. like this curvaceous table paired with fun + textured seating.
Timeless metallics like gold + silver will be your best friend. If you're unsure about metallics, start minimal + commit to one, this will look clean + chic.
Stick with Simple, classic greens with white blossoms.
Stay away from anything too worn or antique looking. save your real antiques for a very special moment, maybe on your mantle, coffee table or entry shelving.
